Important construction features

The machine is designed in particular for customers who need to make the technological process easier through the cassette changer. This technical solution means significant savings while adjusting the machine. The biggest advantage is the possibility to remove any cassette from the magazine and load another one. Using cassettes with chips, you just insert a cassette in the slot: the technological program for the particular workpiece is ready so the machine is automatically and the machining process is implemented.

Cassette system

The cassette system means considerable savings in terms of the bearing of the ring drive system for the "B"– axis. The cassettes are either equipped with a built-in axial – radial bearing or with a couple of bearings with oblique-angled contact. Comparing with palette models, the advantage is that you can use bearings with:

  • Required load capacity and roll moment for the particular type of the technology.
  • Able to work at high speed.

Thermal stabilization of the machine construction

Thermal stabilization provided by means of cooling with water. The pipeline, sunk in a special concrete mixture, is installed in the welded frame of the machine.

High quality is guaranteed through the quality management system ISO 9001. Key machine components are measured with a 3D measurement device.

Drives

The systems are driven by powerful motors with high torsion moment in all axes. The B–axis is driven by a ring motor with high torsion moment. The electric spindle (15 000 rpm) is lubricated with grease.

High natural frequency and construction rigidity

The machine frame is welded of steel and filled with a special concrete mixture. This is the reason why the natural frequency of the frame is higher, and that for all axes! The achieved frequency is 2.5 times higher than competitor models. In addition, the frame rigidity was increased above 100 N.μm-1. The machine works extremely precisely (see the linear axes in the circular interpolation diagram), achieving 2 – 3 μ per Ø 100 – 500 mm, feed 500 – 1 000 mm.min-1.
